Police shot a Somali man wielding an axe and knife as he attempted to murder Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard at his home. The Somali man was linked to Shabaab and Al Qaeda in East Africa. A few years ago, Westergaard had drawn a cartoon of the prophet Mohammed with a bomb in his turban.
