Iraqi security forces detained 13 al Qaeda operatives in Baghdad and northern Iraq, 13 wanted men in Basrah, seven Promised Day Brigades members in Baghdad, and a Naqshabandiya group member south of Kirkuk. Two bombs were detonated in Mosul but no casualties were reported.
