Six Army officers responsible for protecting the Kadhimiyah district in Baghdad were arrested. Since February 2008, 127057 detainees have been released under the terms of the general pardon law.

Iraqi troops captured a leader of the Islamic State of Iraq in Mosul. US and Iraqi troops detained four “criminals” in Baghdad.
