Five Iraqis were killed in two bombings in northeastern and southern Baghdad. Security forces detained a senior Promised Day Brigade commander in Baghdad, a female suicide bomber recruiter in Baqubah, and 11 wanted men in Basrah and 11 more in Amarah. Iraqi border guards arrested 130 people for illegally entering Iraq from Syria.
