US forces reportedly killed two Afghan security personnel and four civilians during a raid in Spin Ghar district in Nangarhar province; the US military claimed three Taliban fighters were killed. Police killed two demonstrators in Paron, capital of of Nuristan province. The Taliban rocketed Kabul for the second time in the past week; no casualties were reported.
