Five Iraqis were killed in a bombing in Kirkuk. Five insurgents in Mosul were killed when their bombs exploded prematurely. Security forces detained 11 wanted men in Jalawlaa, a terrorist commander in Basrah, a Special Groups fighter in Al Kut, and an IED cell member in Kirkuk. Muqtada al Sadr reportedly will return to Iraq during Ramadan.
