Afghan and German troops killed 13 Taliban fighters in Kunduz province. Afghan and Coalition forces killed “several” Taliban fighters and detained one more during a raid in Helmand province. Afghan security forces detained seven suicide bombers, a Taliban commander and two fighters, and a cleric in Nimroz and Herat provinces. Mongolia will send more than 150 troops to Afghanistan.
