Italian police issued arrest warrants for five members of al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb accused of plotting terror attacks in the cities of Milan and Bologna. The men also recruit and train fighters for Iraq and Afghanistan and are thought to have been involved in terror activities in France, Spain, and Denmark.
