Four Taliban fighters and an Afghan soldier were killed during a clash in Kunduz province. Afghan and Coalition forces killed “several” Taliban fighters and detained four more during a raid on a drug factory in Helmand province, detained four Haqqani Network fighters in Paktia province, and destroyed a drug and weapons cache in Uruzgan province. The National Directorate of Security detained two Al Jazeera reporters.
