Two US soldiers were killed south of Mosul; an Iraqi source said an Iraqi soldier killed the US troops. Security forces detained 24 insurgents in Diyala and an Awakening leader in Dalouiya. Seven Iraqis were wounded in IED attacks in Mosul and Kirkuk.
