Twenty-one people, mostly civilians, were killed as the Taliban attack continues throughout Swat. The military said 15 Taliban fighters and 2 troops were killed after the Taliban attacked an outpost in Mohmand; six troops are missing. The house arrests of Lashkar-e-Taiba leader Hafiz Saeed and Colonel Nazir have been extended by two months; Amir Hamza and Mufti Abdul Rehman have been freed.
