A Coalition airstrike killed 20 Taliban fighters after they attacked a police station in the Ahmadkhail district of Paktia province. Three Taliban fighters were detained while planting IEDs in Helmand province. An investigation determined an unknown number of civilians were killed as the Taliban used them as human shields in last week’s battle in Helmand province.
