Prime Minister Maliki™s State of Law list won more than one-quarter of the all 490 in the country™s local council seats in the provincial elections. Security forces detained 38 men wanted on criminal and terror charges in Basrah, six wanted men in Mosul, and a Ansar al Sunnah leader in Diyala. Eleven Iraqis were wounded in bombings in Baghdad.
