Afghan intelligence detained 17 members of a suicide cell in Kabul. The cell is made up of members from the Pakistan-based Haqqani Network and the Harkat ul-Mujahideen. The Taliban has shut down NATO’s supply line through the Khyber Pass. Kyrgyzstan will close the Manas Air Base, which is used by the US as a staging point for operations in Afghanistan.
