Afghanistan

Afghan and Coalition forces killed 10 Taliban fighters in Uruzgan province. Afghan Army and counter-narcotics forces killed 18 Taliban fighters after being attacked in Helmand province. Three British soldiers were killed in an IED attack in Helmand.
