The Pakistani military claimed to have killed 48 Taliban fighters during battles in Mohmand. The Taliban fired six rockets at a shipping terminal in Peshawar and executed two “US spies” in North Waziristan. The Swat Taliban and local tribes are discussing a ceasefire.
