The military launched another operation in Swat after the Taliban swarmed the streets of Mingora. The adviser to the prime minister on interior issues said the situation in Swat and the tribal areas is improving. The military killed 12 Taliban fighters in Darra Adam Khel. The Taliban bombed two girls’ schools in Swat and another in Bajaur.
