Iraqi forces arrested nine suspected “criminals” on local and government warrants during operations throughout Iraq. Six Army officers responsible for protecting the Kadhimiyah district in Baghdad were arrested. Since February 2008, 127057 detainees have been released under the terms of the general pardon law.
