Doctor Mohamed Hanif, a former Taliban spokesman, was gunned down in his home In Nangarhar along with three family members. Thirteen Afghan soldiers and policemen were killed after a large Taliban force of 300 fighters ambushed a convoy in Badghis province; seven Taliban fighters were killed.


Pakistan
