The Israeli Air Force targeted Hamas compounds in the Gaza Strip after absorbing days of rocket attacks. Hamas claims more than 170 people have been killed and all of its security compounds have been destroyed. Hours after the strike, terror groups launched more than 30 rockets into srael; killing one civilian. President Shimon Perez said Israel has no intentions of occupying the Gaza Strip.
