The Taliban

The Taliban said an “Awakening” movement would not succeed in Afghanistan as it did in Iraq. A force of 100 Taliban fighters ambushed a larger French unit of 300 soldiers and forced them to retreat. The French soldiers left behind Milan anti-tank missile, which the Taliban captured.
