The Taliban killed more than thirty civilians on a bus traveling through the Maiwand district in Kandahar province. Six were beheaded. The Taliban claimed it killed Afghan 27 soldiers. US warplanes killed three Taliban fighters after a rocket attack in the Pule Alam District in Logar province.
