Denmark has convicted an Afghan and a Paksitani for preparing a terrorist attack. Police filmed them mixing explosives and found handwritten bomb-making manuals in the men’s homes that the Pakistani, who spent time in Waziristan, had copied while at the Red Mosque in Islamabad. A Spanish court ordered the release of 10 North African men detained for sheltering Islamic extremists. Spanish intelligence said the country remains a target of al Qaeda.
