Coalition forces killed two al Qaeda fighters and detained in northern and central Iraq Monday and Tuesday. Iraqi forces captured three Special Groups operatives in Hillah and Baghdad and nine al Qaeda operatives in Mosul and Al Lakhsaf. Police arrested “a number of suspected and wanted individuals” during operations in Diwaniyah. A Kuwaiti was arrested in eastern Mosul.
