An Afghan and a British and South African citizen working for DHL were gunned down on the streets of Kabul. Three Turkish engineers in Khost and two Bangladeshi aid workers in Ghazni were kidnapped. Indonesian authorities handed over an Afghan man accused of running a global drug trafficking ring that funded the Taliban.
