The prime minister of Canada said he intends to pull all Canadian forces out of Afghanistan by December 2011. The Taliban said attacks have been stepped up to influence Canada’s election. Afghan and Coalition forces captured a former policeman who served as a Taliban heavy weapons and suicide bomb facilitator in the Tarin Kot district in Uruzgan province. An errant bomb killed two civilians in Khost province.
