Iraqi forces captured seven al Qaeda fighters in Salahadin, 13 operatives in Mosul, and seven fighters and a leader in Diyala. Coalition forces killed two al Qaeda operatives and captured four. Five children were killed and three were wounded in a bombing in Mosul. Three Iraqis were killed and five were wounded in a car bombing in Baghdad.
