A US grand jury indicted eight individuals and eight corporations for conspiracy to transfer prohibited technology to Iran. Some of the electronics have been used in IEDs in Iraq. The US Treasury designated six Iranian military firms as supplying Iran with equipment for its nuclear program. Tehran said the US must “cope with new realities” that it can enrich uranium.
