The Pakistani government claimed 462 Taliban and 22 soldiers have been killed in Bajaur. Faqir Mohammed appeared on Pakistani television to deny rumors of his death. Two rockets exploded outside the ISI offices in Kohat while the Taliban bombed a government center, 46 shops, and a school in Swat. The government asked the Taliban to resume talks in Swat.
