Ayman al Zawahiri eulogized Abu Khabab al Masri and three other Egyptian al Qaeda commanders: Abu Mohammed Ibrahim al Masri, Abdul Wahab al Masri and Abu Islam al Masri. US and Iraqi forces captured six terrorists in the Bani Sayd region. One civilian was killed and four were wounded in an IED attack in Baghdad.
Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb claimed credit for the Aug. 19 suicide bombings in the Algerian town of Bouira. Salah Abu Mohammad, a spokesman for the terror group released an audiotape. The attacks killed 11 and wounded 42.

Al Ekhlaas, an al Qaeda forum, posted a banner announcing the impending release of a new video by Ayman al Zawahiri. The video is produced by As Sahab, al Qaeda’s propaganda arm, and is titled “Constellation of Heroes.” Zawahiri is expected to praise recently killed al Qaeda operatives and leaders.
