Provincial elections have been postponed until December 22. Iraqi Special Operations Forces captured 10 Special Groups operatives in Baghdad and Basrah and two al Qaeda operatives in Diyala. The Baghdad National Emergency Response Brigade killed six Special Groups operatives and detained two. Coalition forces detained 15 suspected al Qaeda operatives in central and northern Iraq.
