A convoy shipping arms to Hezbollah blew up after leaving a Revolutionary Guards base on the outskirts of Tehran. At least 15 people were killed in the explosion. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad banned a newspaper from reporting rifts in the country’s leadership.





Yemen

A car bomb at the main police station in Sayoun city of Hadharmout province killed two and injured eight. The same police station was targeted April 22 when three bombs were placed along the perimeter walls. Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for the earlier attack.
