Eight people were killed in clashes between Hezbollah and pro-government Druze forces in the Aley region north of Beirut. The Druze forces took control of a Shia village and Lebanese soldiers are arriving in the region. Fighting was also reported overnight in Tripoli and the Bekaa Valley in the north.
