The US designated Harkat ul-Jihad-al-Islami Bangladesh, or HUJI (B), a foreign terrorist organization and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist. The US also stated HUJI (B) had signed Osama bin Laden’s February 1998 fatwa that declared war on the US.
