Iraqi security forces detained 15 al Qaeda operatives during three separate operations. Iraqi police captured three members of an IED cell operating in and around Kirkuk and Hawijah. US soldiers seized an EFP cache in northwestern Baghdad. The Iraqi Army said Mosul’s Archbishop died of natural causes while in al Qaeda captivity.
