Thirty-eight Egyptian border guards were wounded, some seriously, after clashing with Palestinians at the Rafah crossing in the Sinai. Egypt has failed to close the border for the fourth consecutive day. President Abbas is asking Israel to transfer border control authority to the Palestinian Authority.
