The military captured 50 Taliban suspects in Swat. The bodies of three of 13 soldiers captured by the Taliban in South Waziristan were found near Ladha. The Taliban killed three paramilitary troops in Orakzai and executed a “US spy” in Mohmand. The Taliban extended the cease-fire in North Waziristan until Feb. 10.
