The bodies of 13 paramilitary troops kidnapped by the Taliban last week in Darra Adam Khel have been found; the military said the city has been cleared. Three Taliban fighter were killed when their explosives detonated prematurely in Peshawar; two rockets were fired on the city. Four civilians were wounded after a helicopter attacked civilians fleeing the fighting; the military disputes the claim. Eighteen tribes in Orakzai claimed to have banded together to fight the Taliban.
