Iran said the US Department of Defense footage of the naval incident at the Strait of Hormuz is fake. “The footage released by the U.S. Navy was compiled using file pictures and the audio has been fabricated,” the Iranian Press TV quoted a Revolutionary Guards Corps official as saying. The US warned Iran of the consequences of a confrontation.
