Afghan National Security Forces killed one Taliban fighter and captured nine during operations in Helmand province. The Taliban killed two truck drivers, wounded two, and torched 13 trucks belonging to a road construction company in the Girshk district in Helmand. President Karzai said the Afghan war threatens to spread throughout the region.
