Turkish soldiers killed 14 PKK fighters in a clash in the mountains of the southeastern province of Sirnak. An official from the US State Department said Turkey does not need permission to attack the PKK. “The Turkish government, like any of our other friends and allies, doesn’t get green lights from the United States or red lights from the United States.”
