The Taliban and al Qaeda are targeting Pakistan’s nuclear facilities. The military successfully tested the Babur Hatf-VII cruise missile, which can carry nuclear weapons and has a 700-kilometer range. Ibn Aameen, a Swat Taliban commander, was killed; five civilians were killed in a Taliban rocket attack in the district. South Waziristan Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud threatened to interfere with elections if seven of his lieutenants are not freed.
