The Afghan Ministry of Defense said hundreds of Taliban were killed, wounded, or detained in the battle for Musa Qala. Two ISAF soldiers were killed and three wounded in an IED attack in eastern Afghanistan. Thirteen prisoners at Guantanamo Bay were transferred to Afghan custody.
