Taliban fighters ambushed a convoy supplying goods to a NATO base in Kandahar; five Afghan police and eight Taliban died during the three-hour-long clash. Dutch and Australian forces continue to pound Taliban positions outside of Camp Holland in central Uruzgan province. A Taliban suicide car bomber struck a Canadian column in Kandahar province leaving two civilians seriously injured. The Afghan government announced the two senior Taliban commanders arrested in Musa Qala this weekend is a case of mistaken identity.
