Six were killed and 22 wounded in a bomb explosion near a restaurant in Pattani province. The bomb was hidden in a motorcycle gas tank and detonated while two insurgents were riding the bike, but the military believes it was an accident. The police will receive two helicopters to combat the insurgency in the South.
