Al Qaeda

Osama bin Laden was hiding in the mountain regions along the borders of Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, and Tajikstan, according to Ahmad Farooq, a Taliban fighter. Farooq said he last saw bin Laden in September 2003. Bin Laden “was surrounded by about 20 armed men and he moved whenever he felt particularly threatened.” Two other groups shadowed his movements.
