Operation Iron Hammer in the north has netted hundreds of al Qaeda fighters and over 50 weapons caches. Iraq Security Forces captured 35 insurgents during operations in Baghdad. US and Iraqi forces captured 14 al Qaeda fighters in Baqubah and 13 insurgents in Mosul. Coalition forces killed six al Qaeda operatives and captured 10 in raids nationwide. Coalition forces killed one Special Groups operative captured another during an operation in Rashidiya, while another eight have been captured in East Baghdad.
