Iraq’s Prime Minister pledged to work with Turkey to prevent PKK attacks. “Iraq should not be a base for attacks against neighbors,” Maliki said. “We will cooperate with our neighbors in defeating this threat.” The PKK freed eight captured Turkish soldiers.
