Afghan troops retook Farah’s Gulistan district. Fifteen Taliban and three civilians were killed in fighting in Helmand’s Garmsir district. Two ISAF soldiers were killed and one wounded in an IED attack in eastern Afghanistan. A suicide bomber wounded five civilians in Kandahar.
