A 15-year-old suicide bomber killed 17 in an attack on a bus in Dera Ismail Khan. The Taliban clashed with security forces after one of Baitullah Mehsud’s aides was killed. The Taliban damaged a Buddhist statue in Swat.

A Taliban suicide bomber killed 13 police and 15 civilians in a motorcycle attack on a market in Girshk in Helmand province. Police captured a Taliban district commander of Andar in Ghazni and four fighters. Two Taliban were wounded in a raid on a compound in Ghazni.


Pakistan
